Green tea

Prepare Green tea or Herbal tea if you get the organic green leaves at organic grocery stores.

Method:
  1. Take 200 ml water in a vessel and heat it up. 
  2. Turn-off the stove before it reaches the boiling temperature. 
  3. Then put 3/4 or 1 table spoon of tea leaves in hot water. 
  4. Filter the tea after 2 to 3 minutes. 
  5. If you want sweetness, add jaggery powder or palm jaggery and stir well. Do not add milk.


Orange tea

Ingredients:
  • Orange peels
  • Palm jaggery
Method:
  1. Dry the Orange peels under sunlight very well. Ensure that fungus is not formed. 
  2. Store the peels in a container. 
  3. When you are preparing tea, take 200 ml water and boil it. 
  4. Put 1 or 2 pieces of orange peel in the water and let it boil for 5 minutes in simmer flame. 
  5. Then turn-off the stove. 
  6. Add palm jaggery, stir well and filter the tea and drink.

Dry Ginger & Coriander seeds tea

Ingredients:
  • Coriander seeds - 4 cups
  • Cumin seeds - 1 cup
  • Dry ginger powder - 1/4 table spoon
  • Palm jaggery - to taste
Method:
  1. Keep the coriander seeds & cumin seeds under sunlight for 1 or 2 hours. 
  2. Then use the mixer grinder jar (it should be dry) and make coarse powder. 
  3. Store it in a air tight container. 
  4. When you are preparing tea, take 200 ml water in a vessel and put 1 or 1.5 table spoons of Coriander & Cumin mix powder. Add dry ginger powder also. 
  5. Let it boil for 5 to 8 minutes in simmer flame. 
  6. Turn-off the stove. 
  7. Finally add palm jaggery powder, filter the tea and drink.
Note: 
  1. If you like the dry ginger taste, you may add that powder in the same container along with coriander & cumin seeds powder. 
  2. Adding dry ginger powder is optional.
